Choose the funds that match your goals, values and risk appetite

Nordea’s extensive range of investment funds includes families of funds focusing on various themes, targets or management styles.

Funds for savers

Our funds for savers invest in both bond and equity funds, diversifying their investments across different markets and sectors. When you invest in a fund for savers, you can be certain that your money will be managed actively. You should think about what kind of investment period, target return and risk level you are aiming for before choosing the suitable fund for savers.

Nordea Stars Funds

Our Stars Funds combine sustainable development with a good targeted return. They only invest in companies that prioritise environmental and social responsibility and good governance and are willing to continuously improve in these areas. We regularly assess the companies our Stars Funds invest in, engaging in active dialogue with them. This is done to ensure that they act responsibly, make the necessary corrections to the way they operate and develop in the areas where we see room for improvement.

All the Stars Funds have the same main investment policy but they focus on different geographical regions or new innovations. Discover our Stars Funds and choose your own star!

Enhanced funds

The funds in the Enhanced family combine the features of passive and active funds.

Passive funds track a certain market index, aiming to achieve the same performance as the market. Their costs are typically low but their expected return is also moderate. In active funds, on the other hand, the portfolio manager actively tracks the markets, aiming to generate a higher return than the fund’s benchmark index after costs are deducted. Active funds usually have higher costs than passive funds.

The Enhanced funds aim to outperform their benchmark index. However, since they are not truly active funds, the portfolio manager makes stock picks fairly infrequently. For this reason, the management costs of Enhanced funds are relatively low.

Sustainable balanced funds

Sustainable balanced funds focus on sustainability in investment. You can find clear alternatives in this family of funds, ranging from a moderate to a growth-oriented investment profile, depending on how much risk you are willing to tolerate and how much return you are aiming for.

Want to invest according to a certain theme or values? Read about thematic investments!

You can also select funds based on the sectors or themes they invest in. This is called thematic investment. You can choose funds that invest in new technologies or funds focusing on certain geographical regions. If you would like to invest in forests or real estate, there are funds that do that, too.
