Nordea Credit

A versatile credit card that adds flexibility to your daily shopping and larger purchases. You can also add the debit feature to your card, in which case it will meet all your needs as both a credit and a debit card. The Nordea Credit card includes Product Safety Insurance.

  • Nordea Credit is a credit card for which you can choose a credit limit between 1,500 euros and 5,000 euros.
  • Nordea Credit allows you to pay for purchases under 50 euros also using the contactless feature without having to enter your PIN.
  • The interest-free payment period for purchases on credit is 30 days on average. You only pay interest on the credit amount left unpaid after the due date.
  • The card includes unique Product Safety Insurance, which covers your purchases in accordance with the insurance terms and conditions.
  • You can add the K-Plussa feature to your card.

The versatile Nordea Credit

Nordea Credit is a versatile credit card with a credit limit that allows you to make larger purchases and gives you flexibility for unexpected situations. You can also add the debit feature to your Nordea Credit card, in which case it will serve as both a credit and a debit card.

The unique Product Safety Insurance included in the card provides cover for purchases you make for your home or holiday home in accordance with its terms and conditions.

The Nordea Credit card also includes the contactless payment feature, which allows you to pay for purchases under 50 euros quickly and easily by holding the card close to the payment terminal – you do not need to insert your card into the payment terminal or enter your PIN. If you are paying with a combination card (Credit/Debit), contactless payments are always charged to your bank account. If your card does not have the debit feature, contactless payments are charged to the credit facility.

In Netbank and mobile bank, you can see the features included in your card and the available balance as well as transfer money from your card’s credit facility to your bank account. You can also set geographical and online usage restrictions on your card in mobile bank.

Plenty of choice

  • You will receive a monthly invoice on your credit card transactions. You can choose the due date of the invoice and the repayment amount (minimum instalment percentage). You will only pay interest on the amount of credit left unpaid after the due date.*
  • You can have your own digital photo or a picture from Nordea’s photo gallery printed on your card.
  • You can add the K-Plussa feature to your card.
  • If you have Nordea’s access codes, you get to choose your PIN yourself.
  • You can take a payment holiday for two (2) months in a calendar year.

* The annual percentage rate of charge calculated on a credit amount of EUR 1,500 taken with a Nordea Credit card is 17.9% (June 2019) for customers with a service package. The interest rate on the credit is the 3-month Euribor + 10.5%. The calculation includes the account management fee of 4.50 euros. 

E-invoice has been used as a default invoicing method in the calculation. No annual or monthly fee will be charged on the card included in the customer’s package. The annual percentage rate of charge for other customer groups is shown under Card terms/Standard European Consumer Credit Information. The minimum credit limit for Nordea Credit is 1,500 euros and the maximum credit limit is 5,000 euros. The credit is valid until further notice. The total repayable credit amount depends on the use of the credit, the agreed amount of the repayment instalments and the duration of the credit agreement.

Nordea Credit is accepted worldwide

  • Mastercard is accepted in Finland and abroad in over 200 countries and 30 million sales outlets. You can withdraw cash all over the world at ATMs carrying the Mastercard logo.
  • When your card has the debit facility, you can also pay for purchases and withdraw cash directly from your bank account worldwide.
  • You can go shopping on the Internet when you register your card for online use.
