How to check your card’s security limits
As a rule, we use the term ‘security limits’ to refer to daily limits for cash withdrawals made with cards at ATMs, for instance.
Cash withdrawal limit
You can set the daily limit for cash withdrawals between 0 and 5,000 euros. You can adjust the cash withdrawal limit from your card’s settings in Nordea Mobile or Netbank under the section “Daily limits”.
If you have a combination card, the cash withdrawal limit includes the cash withdrawals you make from your bank account or your credit account in Finland and abroad. In addition, the cash withdrawal limit includes the withdrawals you make at store checkouts.
Note that with the following combination cards, the security limit you have set applies separately to withdrawals from your credit and bank account:
- Nordea Credit (card number beginning with 522841)
- Nordea Gold (card number beginning with 522580)
- Nordea Black (card number beginning with 539670).
For example, if you choose a daily security limit of 100 euros, you can withdraw 100 euros from your credit account and 100 euros from your bank account in one day. In other words, you can withdraw altogether 200 euros a day with these cards.
Spending limit
The spending limit only applies to payments made with a Nordea Debit card in Finland and abroad. You can set your card’s daily spending limit between 0 and 50,000 euros.
You can adjust the spending limit as needed from your Nordea Debit card’s settings in Nordea Mobile or Netbank under the section “Daily limits”.
