The white code calculator was retired on 15 September 2025

We are updating our digital banking services and want to ensure that you can use modern identification solutions. Going forward, our selection of means of identification will only include the Nordea ID app and the black Nordea ID device. We have phased out the white code calculator from our service range. What you should do if you are still using the white code calculator:

  • The white code calculator was retired on 15 September 2025. You will need to start using either the Nordea ID app or the black Nordea ID device. Note: It will be possible to use the white code calculator until 30 October to allow time for our customers to receive their new means of identification.
  • The talking code calculator will be retired during 2025. We recommend that you install the Nordea ID app that is easy to use with the accessibility features on your phone. Another option is the Nordea ID Talk Device that we will introduce in the autumn. You can order it in advance by calling us on 0200 70 000 (local rates apply).

As of 15 September 2025, you were not able to use the white code calculator. Lock the device by entering the PIN code incorrectly so that the device asks for the PUK code. After this, you can return it free of charge to a national WEEE collection point in a locked electrical and electronic waste container.

What is the Nordea ID device?

The black Nordea ID device is a new means of identification offered by Nordea to be used together with your Nordea access codes. You need a Nordea ID device if you don’t own a smartphone or for some reason are unable to use the Nordea ID app, which is the means of identification we primarily recommend.

You can use the device to log in to Netbank, confirm online payments to various service providers, sign agreements and applications digitally and verify your identity in the online services of the authorities and other third parties. You can’t log in to Nordea Mobile with the Nordea ID device.
