Accessibility statement for Nordea Siirto service in Finland

This accessibility statement applies to the Siirto service in Finland. This accessibility statement is published on 18 June, 2021 and updated on 1 July, 2024. The accessibility of the service has been assessed by Nordea itself.

Accessibility status of the digital service

Nordea’s Siirto service in Finland meets partially the accessibility requirements. This accessibility statement will be updated when gaps have been closed. Nordea’s Siirto service is a mobile payment service which enables person-to-person payments. It is also a payment method used in webshops and -services. Alternative payment methods may be offered to the users by the webshops and -services.  There is no alternative means to use the Nordea Siirto service itself.  Information about Nordea’s Siirto service can be found on Nordea’s webpages. Customer can find information about a Siirto transaction in Nordea’s mobile- and netbanks, as well as on account statement and on transaction report.

Perceivable

1.1.1 Non-text content (A), Provide text alternatives for non-text content:

  • In latest contacts screen, the images and account numbers are not fully functioning for screen readers.  

1.3.4 Orientation (WCAG 2.1) (AA), Content can be displayed in portrait and landscape orientation: 

  • Content is displayed only in portrait mode. 

1.3.5 Identify Input purpose (WCAG 2.1) (AA), Each input field must be able to be determined programmatically, a user should be able for example to autofill inputs: 

  • Field labels may be missing from some input fields.

1.4.3 Contrast minimum (WCAG 2.1) (AA), Contrast ratio between text and background is at least 4.5:1: 

  • Not all screens have been validated to meet with this requirement and hence partial non-compliance may occur. 

1.4.4 Resize Text (AA), Text can be resized to 200% without loss of content or function:

  • Settings based zoom-functionality is not supproted.

1.4.11 Non-Text Contrast (WCAG 2.1) (AA), Extend color contrast of at least 3:1 to non-text content such as infographics, diagrams, states, etc.: 

  • Not all screens have been validated to meet with this requirement and hence partial non-compliance may occur.

3.1.2 Language of parts (AA), The human language of each passage or phrase in the content can be programmatically determined except for proper names, technical terms, words of indeterminate language, and words or phrases that have become part of the vernacular of the immediately surrounding text:

4.1.3 Status Messages (WCAG 2.1) (AA), Content that is updated dynamically must be notified to users of assistive technologies without getting visual focus:
