How does the well-being benefit work?
You will get access to the Nordea MyLife app
The well-being benefit includes the free-of-charge Nordea MyLife app. In the app you can see how your activity level affects your insurance cover. You can also connect your activity trackers, for example sports watches, to the MyLife app.
You can share your activity data with the app through Google Fit. We’ll show you how to do this once you have bought your insurance policy.
How is the increase in insurance cover determined?
The increase in insurance cover is determined by your physical activity data. The duration and intensity of your exercise is converted into activity points, the average of which determines your activity level. Based on the activity level, you will receive a 0%, 15% or 25% increase in your insurance coverage.
The activity levels, their point thresholds and the increases they generate:
- Beginner, 0–19 points, no insurance cover increase
- Moderate exercise, 20–44 points, 15% increase – moderate exercise means that you walk briskly for about 30 minutes or run for 15 minutes every day.
- Active exercise, 45 or more points, 25% increase – active exercise means that you walk briskly for about 60 minutes or run for 30 minutes every day.
Your activity level will be determined after you have had the well-being benefit for 100 days. After this, your activity level will always be the 100-day average.
You can see your activity level and the increase in insurance cover in the Nordea MyLife app and in Netbank's Insurance service.

How can I get the well-being benefit?
You will get the well-being benefit automatically when you buy a Nordea MyLife personal insurance policy. Go to our insurance calculator and buy an insurance policy for yourself quickly and easily online!
If you have already taken out Nordea MyLife personal insurance but do not have the well-being benefit, please send us a message via Nordea Mobile or Netbank or call the customer service of Nordea Life Assurance and Nordea Insurance at 0200 22320 (local rates apply) Mon–Thu 8.30–16.30 and Fri 10.00–16.30.
