This accessibility statement applies to the Become a customer online in Finland. This accessibility statement is updated on 17.12.2020. The accessibility of the service has been assessed by Nordea itself.
Accessibility status of the digital service
Nordea’s Become a customer online service in Finland meets partially the accessibility requirements. The target is to have the identified gaps fixed during 2021, unless otherwise stated below. This statement will be updated as issues are resolved.
Inaccessible content in the digital service
The service is not yet fully compliant with the requirements in the following identified areas.
1.1.1 Non-text content, provide text alternatives for non-text content: the pictures for ID/driving licence there should be alternative text with the information which are marked on the picture. No description for purpose of buttons and elements. Content in the drop down boxes are not read properly.
1.3.1 Info and Relationships: on some of the pages the submit button is outside of the form; speaker cannot read properly in same case: the elements are not grouped and don’t have descriptions, the letter V is used as an arrow down icon
1.4.1 Use of Colour: an element is incorrectly identified as a button and not a link
1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum): some elements, buttons and textboxes do not have sufficient colour contrast.
2.1.1 Keyboard: some buttons and the selections are not available from keyboard.
2.1.2 No Keyboard Trap: Focus can be moved away from a modal using keyboard or when operating a screen reader.
2.2.1 Timing adjustable : customer should see a pop-up message that the session will be closed, and have option to accept or keep the session
2.4.6 Headings and Labels: missing accessibility descriptions, e.g only the heading is read instead of the heading and text
2.4.7 Focus Visible: the elements are not highlighted properly when focus is on the element.
