How do I cancel a Nordea personal insurance policy?

  1. Log in to Nordea Mobile, Nordea Netbank or Nordea Omaposti
  2. Send us a new message with “Insurance” as the topic
  3. Write in the message: “I would like to cancel my insurance” followed by the insurance policy number and your account number to which we can refund any excess insurance premiums.
  4. We will process your request within about a week and notify you once your insurance has been terminated.

Who can cancel a Nordea insurance policy?

  • A personal customer’s insurance policy can only be cancelled by the policyholder.
  • To cancel a couple’s insurance policy which is included in Nordea’s loan protection insurance, both of you must provide your written consent. One of you can provide their consent to cancelling the insurance in a message sent from Nordea Mobile or Netbank or through Nordea Omaposti.
  • Corporate insurance policies can only be cancelled by a person authorised to sign for the company, who must submit a request for cancellation.
