Wondering what shares or funds to invest in?

A short review of the market events in late 2025 by our investment strategist Ville Korhonen.

“In December 2025, the investment markets calmed down to finish a strong rally year as investors prepared for the 2026 market outlook. The returns on global equities were around zero for December, although the Helsinki Stock Exchange and European equities rose clearly. Among global equity sectors, financials and materials enjoyed success. Investors’ focus turned particularly to the expected turnaround in earnings for companies on the Helsinki Stock Exchange, despite the persistent challenges in the Finnish economy.

Expectations for 2026 are positive for both the equity markets and the fixed income markets. Investors are advised to continue to ensure that their portfolios are sufficiently diversified, which is the best way to hedge against market volatility.”
