“In January, investors favoured funds investing in Europe and Finland that performed well last year. We have continued to overweight Europe in our investment recommendations for some time. Funds and ETFs with global diversification as well as the US and the emerging markets also attracted interest. Precious metals investments that surged last year were also among the most bought investments. At the turn of January and February the prices of precious metals dropped sharply after a long rally.”
