Why do I see a payment due on 15 June in Nordea Mobile?

If you have a student loan with us and the payment recipient is “Nordea Lainat / Lån”, the payment you see could be an interest payment on your student loan.

You will start repaying your student loan about one year after you stop receiving student financial aid. Initially you only pay interest on your loan, which is invoiced every six months, on 15 June and 15 December.

Each interest payment will appear in your upcoming payments in Nordea Mobile and Netbank about two weeks before the due date. The payment will include the student loan interest for six months.

The use of the white code calculator is ending – what do I do?

The white code calculator will be retired on 15 September 2025. From then on, you will need either the Nordea ID app or the black Nordea ID device. After 30 March 2025, you will not be able to log in to Nordea Mobile with the white code calculator.

The Nordea ID app is an app that you install on your mobile phone or tablet. With this app, you can log in to Nordea Mobile and Netbank, confirm online payments and access other public online services, such as MyTax and MyKanta. Read more about the Nordea ID app

The Nordea ID device is for you if you are unable to use the Nordea ID app on a mobile device. With this device, you can log in to Nordea Netbank, confirm online payments and access other public online services. You can bring your white code calculator to a designated collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment free of charge.

Where can I find my account statements?

To access your account statements, click on your name in the top right corner in Nordea Netbank and choose Documents. For the most recent account statements, select Archive.

In Nordea Mobile, you can find your account statements under Profile > Documents > Archive.

You can retrieve the latest account statement in Nordea Mobile and Netbank after two banking days from the end of the previous month. The account statement is created only if you have had transactions in the account.

Account statements will be stored for the current year plus six years.

How do I check my credit card transactions?

You can view your credit card transactions and balance in the following services: Nordea Mobile and Nordea Netbank, the invoice and e-invoice archives as well as Nordea Finance’s OmaLuotto service to which you can log in using the online banking codes of other Finnish banks. Your credit card invoice serves as your account statement.

To view your credit card transactions in Nordea Mobile, select your card on the front page. Depending on the card type, you will be able to see your transactions for the past 1–3 months. 

Please note that the name of the seller under a card transaction may be different from the name of the creditor on your invoice.

How do I activate the Nordea ID app?

After you have installed the Nordea ID app on your mobile device, you can activate it directly in the app.

1. Open the Nordea ID app.
2. Name your profile and select your country, language and customer type.
3. Select the relevant activation method and verify your identity.
4. Order the 10-digit activation code as a text message and enter the code into the app.
5. The last thing you need to do is choose a 4 to 8 digit PIN, which you will use to log in to the Nordea ID app.
