Why do I receive a statement of fees?

A statement of fees is provided for all payment accounts regardless of whether there have been service fees or interest on the account or not.

Where can I find the statement?

If you are using Nordea’s Netbank, you will find the statement of fees by going to Archive under the Finances tab.

If you are not using Nordea’s Netbank, you will find the statement of fees in the OmapostiOpens new window service. You can log in to Omaposti with the online banking codes of any Finnish bank.

Which service fees are included in the statement of fees?

A statement of fees only contains fees for a payment account and the services linked to it, but not trading or custody fees related to shares, for example. Similarly, payments related to loans or credit cards are excluded from statements of fees.

I don’t have online banking codes from any bank, so how do I get my statement of fees?

You can receive a statement of fees delivered in a letter to your home address free of charge by calling Nordea Customer Service (tel 0200 70 000, service in English).

I don’t recognise the services listed on my statement of fees. What are they?

Payment service providers are obliged to use on the statements of fees the service names published by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority. They may differ from the ones you are used to. The terms used are listed in the Fee Information Document/Glossary of the termsOpens new window.

Why is the interest rate of my account not stated on the statement of fees?

The interest rate of some accounts is determined according to the interest rate tiers of the account and reference rates that may vary even weekly. The details of these more complex interest structures are excluded from statements of fees. You can find more detailed information on the interest determination bases in your account agreement.

Why is the unit price for cross-border payments not included in the statement?
