How to cancel your account free of charge within 14 days

You can submit a cancellation request in Nordea Mobile or Netbank in your account settings. After receiving your request, we will cancel your account within 1 to 3 banking days.

If the account is jointly owned, you can only cancel it for yourself. The account will remain active for any other account holders. If someone has access rights to the account, those rights will remain in place until one of the account holders requests the access to be removed or the account is closed.

Transfer or close services linked to your account before cancelling it

Before cancelling your account, make sure any services linked to it are transferred or closed, as they will no longer be available once the account has been cancelled. If your account has linked services, we’ll be happy to help you transfer them to another account.

Please note the withdrawal period

If your account has been active for more than 14 days, the right to withdrawal no longer applies. In this case, you can still close your account in the usual way. Just get in touch with us via chat or by phone, and we’ll be happy to help.
