You may also receive a text message from us containing an activation code for the Nordea ID app, information about a renewed card or a request to review your card’s geographical usage settings or other card-related settings.
The text messages we send never contain clickable links. We recommend that you never open links sent by text message or call phone numbers provided in text messages.

Text message confirmation for card transactions and credit transfers
You may get a text message from us asking you to confirm a card transaction or a credit transfer. We send these messages if we suspect your card or account is being used without authorisation. You may receive such a message at any time of the day.
To respond, simply reply to the text message with a single letter A or B, depending on the options provided.
These messages never contain links or phone numbers, and you will never be asked to do anything other than reply with A or B.

Text message confirmations sent by Nets for Nordea cards
Our partner, payment solutions provider Nets, may also send confirmation requests relating to Nordea cards by text message. These confirmation requests apply to Nordea Mastercard numbers beginning with 5225 or 5228.
In addition to a verification question, these text messages contain a link to a form for disputing a transaction. However, we recommend accessing the Nets website through other means, such as by typing the web address directly into your browser or by using the links provided below.
