No, there are no extra fees when you use mobile payment methods.

Can I also use my physical card if I set up mobile card payments with my device?

Yes. The physical card continues to work as usual – mobile payment is simply an additional, more flexible way to pay.

Is my credit card information stored on the phone?

No. Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay never store your actual card details on their servers when you use mobile payments. When you add your card to your phone or smartwatch, the system creates a unique, encrypted virtual card number – known as a token – for that device.

Can I still use my physical card if my device is lost or stolen?

If your phone or other smart device is lost or stolen, no one can view your card details or make payments with your card without authentication.

However, you can block your card or disable mobile payments by calling the card blocking service at +358 20 333. The service is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. If you have added multiple cards to your phone, you can block them all at the same time.

If you choose to disable only mobile payments, you can continue using your physical card as usual.

Which mobile payment method should I choose?

The right mobile payment solution for you depends on the device you want to add your payment card to.

Yes. Mobile payments are designed with multiple layers of security. For example:

• Apple Pay and Google Pay never store your actual card number on your device or their servers. Instead, a unique token is used for each payment, ensuring that your real card details are never shared with the merchant.
• Every payment requires authentication, such as Face ID, fingerprint recognition, or your device PIN.
• If your device is lost or stolen, you can disable mobile payments while continuing to use your physical card as normal.
