What is File management in Nordea Business?

File management in Nordea Business is intended for companies who want to ease their payment and reconciliation processes but whose ERP system does not support direct integration with Nordea’s Corporate Access Lite service.
In Nordea Business you can upload payment files and download account reporting files for import into your ERP system.
Please ensure that your ERP system supports the file types mentioned below.

How does File management in Nordea Business work?

Create a payment file in your ERP system and upload it to Nordea Business. Afterwards you can confirm the payments in Nordea Business.
When the payments have been executed, you can download the payment information and import it to your ERP system.
You can also download files containing data on all incoming payments or an account report of all your account transactions and import it to your ERP system.

Even though files are sent and downloaded manually in File management in Nordea Business, the solution is based on our integrated Corporate Access file transfer service. Therefore transaction fees, for example, are linked to the Corporate Access service.

What file formats are supported?

File Management in Nordea Business is based on Corporate Access and the modern ISO 20022 XML file formats already supported by many ERP systems. Supported file types are:

Pain.001 – payment file
Camt.054D – debit notification (report on payments to service providers)
Camt.054C – credit notification (incoming payments)
Camt.053Extended – account statements/+ debit and credit entries

Please note that the file extension of the above file types is [.NDA], not [.XML]. This is in line with the standard for the file format ISO 20022 XML. Read more about these file types. Read more about the filetypes.
