- I have a Nordea Gold card which comes with travel insurance for trips abroad. When is the insurance in force?
Nordea Gold travel insurance for trips abroad includes travel illness and travel accident covers, luggage insurance and cover for cancellation of the trip, for example. The insurer is Tryg Insurance A/S.
The insurance is in force on leisure trips when the insured person has a valid Nordea Gold card as the trip starts from Finland or from the insured person's home country, and when at least 75% of the travel and accommodation expenses are paid with the card's credit facility.
The insured has to be at least 16 but under 79 years of age. The insurance is valid for holders of a principal or parallel Nordea Gold card and their accompanying family members and children or grandchildren under 22 years of age according to the insurance terms and conditions.
