Service break in Nordea Life Assurance's services

Our insurance systems are undergoing technical changes. The technical changes will cause a service break in our insurance services from 17 to 22 August 2016. The service break concerns all Nordea Life Assurance's products. 

During the service break, all Netbank services connected to Nordea Life Assurance's products will be unavailable. Orders related to insurance products at Nordea branches and in Customer Service will also be restricted. The effects of the service break on orders concerning different products have been listed in the table below.

The service break will not affect daily banking services or other Netbank services.

The reason for the service break is the renewal of insurance systems 

We will introduce a new insurance system to which we will transfer our pension and endowment insurance policies from our old system. The change is technical and there will be no amendments to the terms and conditions of the insurance policies transferred to the new system. The transfer does not require any action from our customers.  

The introduction of the new insurance system will improve the usability of our services. In the future, it will enable us to offer a wider range of services especially in the digital channels. After the system renewal, we will introduce new mobile and online banking services to our customers.

You can make additional investments as normal credit transfers at any time. Payments made during the service break will be displayed on your insurance contract on 23 August 2016.

Amendment to the beneficiary clause  
An amendment to the beneficiary clause will enter into force when it has been delivered to Nordea in writing. The amendment will be displayed in Netbank after the service break.

Contracts falling due  
Contracts falling due during the service break will be processed as of 23 August 2016.
