Logon to Netbank with the code app

1. Select the Code app tab on Netbank's login page. Enter your Netbank user ID and click OK.

2. Netbank creates an action for the code app and waits for confirmation. Open the Codes app on your mobile device.

3. Confirm the login by entering your personal PIN code to the code app.

4. After you have confirmed the action, you will be automatically transferred to Netbank's front page.

Payment confirmation in Netbank with the code app

1. Select the payments you want to confirm and click Confirm.

2. Netbank sends an action to the code app and waits for a confirmation. Open the Codes app on your mobile device.

3. Confirm the action by entering your personal PIN code to the code app.

4. After you have confirmed the action in the code app, you can view the payment in Netbank as confirmed.

Additional payment confirmation in Netbank

1. You will receive a notification in Netbank if a payment you have made requires an additional confirmation. You can make the additional confirmation through the code app. Start by clicking the Other payments link.

2. You can see the payment details and confirmation box in Netbank. Click Confirm on the payment you want to confirm.

3. Click Confirm. Netbank creates an action to the code app and waits for confirmation.

4. As soon as you start the additional confirmation in Netbank, you will receive an additional confirmation request to the code app. The app requests you to check the payment details. If the payment details are correct, click Continue to confirm. Give the additional confirmation to the payment by entering your personal PIN code to the code app.

5. After you have confirmed the action in the code app, the payment will be shown in Netbank as paid.

Mobile Bank

Using the code app in Mobile Bank

  1. Taking the code app into use and logon to Mobile Bank

Taking the code app into use and logon to Mobile Bank

1. Download Mobile Bank on your device or update the latest version of the app from your device's app store.

2. Select 'Download the Codes app', if you have not yet downloaded the app. You are now transferred directly to the app store where you can download the Codes app. See instructions on how to take the Nordea Codes app into use.

Select 'Skip' if you do not want to download the code app right now. You can download the app later from your mobile device's app store. You can find it by searching for 'Nordea Codes'.

3. Select the Codes app as the login method from the top of Mobile Bank's login page.

Enter your user ID and select 'Login'. You are now automatically transferred to the code app where you can type in your personal PIN code.

4. Enter your personal PIN code in the code app.

5. You are transferred back to Mobile Bank and are now logged in.

Note! If you want to, you can download the code app on several different devices. If you have not downloaded the code app on a device you use to log into Mobile Bank, you must choose the alternative 'Use another device' in connection with the login.

Mobile Bank will remember your choice and in the future it will automatically expect you to use the other device. If you later want to download the code app on your device, click ‘Download the Codes app' and you will be automatically transferred to your app store where you can download the code app.

Confirmation of payments and changing of card settings, when you have logged in with the code app

1. With the code app you can confirm payments and changes to card settings.

2. You must enter your user ID unless you have already entered it during the same session.

3. When you have entered your user ID, you will be directly transferred to the code app where you can check the details of the transaction and confirm it with your personal PIN code.

4. After you have entered the PIN code, you will be transferred back to Mobile Bank where you will receive a confirmation of the transaction.

Confirmation of payments and changing of card settings, when you have logged in with a permanent password

1. When you confirm payments, read your Mail or make changes to the card settings, you must identify yourself with the code card or the code app for security reasons.

2. After you have chosen the code app, enter your user ID.

3. When you have entered your user ID, you will be directly transferred to the code app where you can check the details of the transaction and confirm it with your personal PIN code.

4. After you have entered the PIN code, you will be transferred back to Mobile Bank where you will receive a confirmation of the transaction.

Customer Service

Use of the code app in Nordea Customer Service

  1. Identification in Nordea Customer Service with the code app. 
  2. Identification in Nordea Customer Service with the code app, when mobile device has no data connection and Codes app is in offline mode.

1. Call Nordea Customer Service.

2. We will ask you to give your Netbank user ID. If you use both the code card and the code app, we ask you to choose the identification method you want to use.

When you selected the code app as identification method, we will ask you to open the code app on your mobile device and enter your PIN code.

You can open the code app by pressing the notification on the top of the screen.

If you have disabled notifications from the code app in your mobile device's settings, you get the call in the background by pressing the home button. Open then the Nordea Codes app.

3. Enter your personal PIN code in the code app.

4. Return to the phone call. Identification is now ready and your call will be connected to Nordea Customer Service.

1. Call Nordea Customer Service.

2. We will ask you to give your Netbank user ID. If you use both the code card and the code app, we ask you to choose the identification method you want to use.

If you have chosen the code app in offline mode as the identification method, we ask you to open the code app in your mobile device. You can place the call in the background by pressing the home button.

3. Choose "Go offline".

4. Choose "Log in - LOGIN".

5. Enter your personal PIN code in the code app and press Next.

6. You will see a nine-digit response code, which we recommend you write down. Click Continue.

7. The code app will return to the start screen. Resume the call.

8. Enter the nine-digit response code you received into the phone.

A recording will tell you that the authentication was successful. You will be connected to Nordea Customer Service.
