For the safe custody of Finnish securities a fixed monthly custody fee is charged. The fee is also charged for empty book-entry accounts. The custody fee is not charged for those book-entry accounts on which there are only securities issued by Nordea or Nokia employee stock options and for the empty book-entry accounts that have been connected to Netbank.
*The fee includes 23% VAT (0,19 €).

The safe custody fee for foreign securities is calculated on the value of the securities. The market rate of the fees’ calculation date or the latest market rate converted into euros known to the bank is used in calculating the value. If no market rate is available, the nominal value is used as the value. The remaining nominal value of the bonds is used as their value. If the safe custody fee calculated on the value of the assets remains below the minimum fee, the customer will be charged one minimum fee for all his or her foreign assets in safe custody.
