Information to customers who have redeemed Nordea fund units in 2009

19.4.2010There is an error in the material sent by Nordea Investment Fund Company Finland to the tax authorities regarding customers who have redeemed (sold) Nordea's fund units in 2009. This is why the capital gains and capital losses calculations in the precompleted tax returns are incorrect.

Nordea Investment Fund Company Finland will send the revised taxation material to the tax authorities. The tax authorities will calculate the gains and losses on the basis of the revised material and send the customer a new taxation decision before the end of October.

Customers do not have to correct and return their precompleted tax returns solely to correct the errors concerning the redemptions the gains and losses of which have been entered in the precompleted tax return.

If the gains or losses resulting from the redemption of Nordea fund units have not been entered in the precompleted tax return, the customers must enter the accrued gains and losses in their correct amounts. The customers can do this on the Internet in the Veroilmoitus verkossa service or by returning the precompleted tax return to the local tax office.

In the Fund Report Nordea Investment Fund Company Finland sent to its customers in January the information concerning gains and losses were correct.
