Set your credit limit right

You can always use your card as much as you have left of your credit limit. You can pay with your credit card for as much as there is limit left.

Make sure that you have a reserve fund for unexpected situations. A higher credit limit allows you to use the card for many purposes. You get flexibility for even larger purchases both in Finland and abroad.

You can apply for a raise to your card’s credit limit in Netbank or by calling the Nordea Customer Service – you only need your access codes to do it. You should do it well ahead of your holidays, but the raise can also be done during the holidays: it becomes effective at once.
