Questions and answers
What do I do to get my money back?
- If you have purchased your trip through a travel agency and paid for it with Nordea’s Visa or MasterCard, you must first contact the travel agency to find out if the agency will arrange a replacement flight. If the travel agency does not offer an alternative flight or a compensation for the air tickets, you can file a claim. When making the claim, report your contact with the travel agency: state the date of the contact and its outcome. Append a copy of your booking/tickets. Please note that we cannot process inadequate claims.
The claim form with instructions: Card debit inquiry.
You should be prepared that the processing of the claim may take longer than normal. Do not file a claim if you have already received/will receive compensation from some other party.
Can I leave the debit entry for Malev or Spanair air tickets on my credit card bill unpaid?
- Yes, if you call customer service and agree on it. You can find the contact information on your bill. You must however fill in a claim form and send it to Nordea.
What should I do if I have already used part of my ticket?
- Fill in a claim for the part of the trip you have not used.
If I have paid for my air ticket by some other means than a card (e-payment, credit transfer or the like), do I send a claim to Nordea?
- No, we ask you to directly contact Malev or Spanair or the travel agency where you bought your trip.
