Visa invoice now more user-friendly

08.02.2010We have now implemented the two much-wished-for features for the Visa invoice: personal due date and instalment-free months. Managing your daily finances becomes easier when you can select a personal monthly due date for your Visa invoice. Furthermore, two instalment-free months enable you to balance your expenses.

Due date

Personal due date on the Visa invoice will be introduced in the invoicing of February 2010. In the future your invoicing period is determined on the basis of the due date you have selected. See the table below.

  • If the due date falls on a weekend or holiday, it will be postponed to the next banking day.
  • If the invoicing date falls on a weekend or holiday, it will be advanced to the previous banking day.

You can change the due date of your Visa invoice free of charge any time you want.

However, when you change the due date, the invoicing schedule of the Visa card also changes and the introduction of a new due date includes an exceptional payment and invoicing period.

After one exceptional payment and invoicing period the invoicing schedule will normalise and start following the new due date.

Instalment-free months

Now you can choose two instalment-free months for your Visa invoice every year. You can choose whichever months you want, but they cannot be consecutive.

When you have an instalment-free month, you do not have to pay your Visa invoice. The interests and account management fees of the instalment-free month will be transferred to the next Visa invoice.

Notify the bank of the instalment-free months in good time, one month before the following due date at the latest. There is no charge for reporting and changing instalment-free months.
