Visa Electron is more than just an ATM card. It is an international chip card with which you can withdraw cash and pay for purchases in Finland and abroad. |
When you withdraw cash or pay for purchases with Visa Electron, a cover reservation for the withdrawal or purchase amount is made to your account in real time.

You can withdraw cash at ATMs in Finland and at Visa ATMs abroad. The withdrawal and the related fee are debited to your bank account.

Visa Electron’s security is further increased by the daily security limits for withdrawals and payments. You define the limits when collecting the card. It is also possible to change the security limits later in Netbank.

For under 18-year-olds and Nordea’s Check-in Customers Visa Electron is free of charge.
