Product Safety Insurance
Product Safety Insurance (former Home Safety Insurance)
Home Safety Insurance now has a new name: Product Safety Insurance.
Product Safety Insurance provides excellent additional cover for your card purchases when products that are purchased to be used indoors at your permanent or leisure home are paid in full with a Nordea credit card. Product Safety Insurance provides cover in the event of damage or breakdown of the insured object in accordance with the insurance terms and conditions. The purchase price of the insured object must be at least 100 euros and paid in full with the card’s credit facility. Read the insurance terms and conditions carefully.
The content of the Product Safety Insurance has been extended as of 1 July 2011. The extension applies to products that are purchased to be used outdoors at your home or leisure house garden when the purchases amounting to at least 100 euros are paid in full with the credit facility of your Nordea MasterCard Gold or Visa Gold card.
Product Safety Insurance is valuable insurance that complements your home insurance. The insurance is free of charge.
You can see the benefits in your everyday life
- The vacuum cleaner might tip over a loudspeaker or an electric razor might fall out of your hand and break the bathroom sink. In such cases the insurance offers compensation for the value of the object without any deductible or reductions for age during two years after the purchase date.
- The benefits of the insurance will also become apparent in situations where the cooker hood or microwave oven bought for your renovated kitchen breaks down right after the guarantee has expired. In such a case the insurance provides compensation for the repair of the appliance as many as five years after the purchase. The above-mentioned damages are damages that most home insurance policies do not cover - at least without a deductible.
Use your Nordea credit card for all your purchases!
