Payments from abroad
Payment order
The payment order is the easiest way for your company to receive payments in foreign currency from abroad. As a method of payment it requires confidentiality between the buyer and the seller.
With a payment order you receive funds quickly to your account at Nordea if you notify your international trading partner of your bank connection in the following way:
Please instruct your bank to forward payment orders through:
Nordea Bank Finland Plc
SWIFT address: NDEAFIHH
IBAN (IBAN account number at Nordea Bank Finland)
Standard Settlement Instructions - Recommended cover banks for incoming cross-border payments
Advance notice of incoming currency payments
With the Advance notice of incoming currency payments service you can retrieve from Nordea electronic information on incoming foreign currency payments to be registered to your account. The information on the final credit entries are on your account statement.
This service makes it easier for your company to monitor incoming payments and the risks related to your buyers. It also makes liquidity management more efficient.
You can edit the advance notice files and print different kinds of reports. The files can be transferred to your company's data systems, for example, to liquidity management.
Detailed information on the Advance notice of incoming currency payments service is found in the service description.
