E-invoice for consumers

Companies can now send e-invoices to consumers
When you have an e-invoicing agreement with Nordea you can reach the consumer customers using any of the Finnish online banking services. The same agreement also allows B2B invoicing.
With pre-completed invoices arriving directly in Netbank, the payer does not have to key in the information and the invoicer gets the receivables with correct details. Payments are paid accurately and on time, and everyone is saved from unnecessary settlements and reminders.
How does your business benefit from e-invoicing?
- The same technology can be used for sending consumer and B2B invoices.
- Fast and reliable delivery of invoices to the payers.
- Paperless invoicing brings cost-savings.
- Errors in payment are eliminated.
- Filing is easier.
Additional service
An additional service allows invoicers who use file transfer to present the appendices to an invoice to consumers through a link formed in Netbank. The link allows the invoicer to send marketing messages to customers and to identify the consumers who open the invoice link if the invoicer has a personal identity number database.
An essential part of consumer e-invoicing is the notification service, for which you can find record descriptions at finvoice.fi (maintained by the Federation of Finnish Financial Services).
