12.05.2010In a share exchange ten years ago the shares of Merita Plc were exchanged for the shares of Nordic Baltic Holding (NBH) AB (publ), now known as Nordea Bank AB (publ).
At the time of the share exchange we were unable to reach a small number of shareholders. An amount corresponding to the redemption price of the minority shareholding in Merita Plc, interest included, was deposited with the Country Administrative Board of Southern Finland (present name Regional State Administrative Agency of Southern Finland) on 27 June 2000 and 28 June 2000.
The ten-year time limit for withdrawing the funds will expire at the end of June 2010. Nordea would like to remind the minority shareholders who have not yet withdrawn the redemption amount, including interest, or who are still in possession of share certificates of KOP, SYP, HOP or their predecessors, that they are entitled to withdraw the deposited funds.

as soon as possible.
