14.10.2010The seminar on the utilisation of the pan-European standards, organised by Nordea, was commended by the customers, speakers and other participants.
The seminar offered an excellent possibility to compare the products of different service providers and to get to know various tools that accelerate the implementation of SEPA projects. The audience was especially interested in the presentation by the European Commission on the future progress in the Single Euro Payments Area. A discussion panel described the advancement of the preparations in the other Nordic countries.
Competitiveness will improve
SEPA standardisation is important for the improvement of competitiveness in Europe. The objective is to minimise the time and work load spent on administration in business. For companies this will mean that, for example, ordering, invoicing, maintenance of various ledgers, accounting and reporting can take place in real time.
Nordea organised a seminar for companies called “Full utilisation of standardisation” at Helsingin Messukeskus on 28 September.
