19.08.2010Does your company know how to utilise the pan-European SEPA standards? Nordea organises a seminar “Put the Benefits of Standardisation into Efficient Use” at Helsingin Messukeskus (Helsinki Fair Centre) on 28 September.
At the seminar, the providers of financial administration systems and services will tell about the utilisation of the SEPA standards and their solutions to the automatisation of the functions in financial administration.
Among the exhibitors and speakers are Accenture, Basware, Deloitte, Edimaster, HP, IBM, Logica, Microsoft, OpusCapita, Siemens, Tata Consultancy Services, Tieto and XMLDation.
SEPA readiness is far advanced in Nordea
Thanks to the pan-European standardisation, companies are able to improve the efficiency of their liquidity control and reduce the number of euro accounts and thereby banks. Nordea is the first bank in Finland to offer its customers the benefits of standardisation in cooperation with the software houses.
In Nordea customers can already today make payments in line with the SEPA standards in file transfer and Netbank and at payment ATMs. Nordea's account reporting also covers SEPA transactions. SEPA readiness will be finalised in e-invoices, e-payments, telephone bank and in invoice payments at branches by the end of the year. An international creditor reference will be introduced at the end of the year.
