03.05.2010University and polytechnics students gave Nordea top points when they rated Finland’s best employers in the Universum survey targeted at students. Business students selected Nordea as the second most ideal employer. Last year Nordea was ranked number four.
Like last year, Nordea was number one among students studying finance and economics as their major subject. Among law students Nordea was number 13 and number 37 among IT students.
Many factors have contributed to the positive employer image. Nordea’s general corporate image is good. Nordea does a lot of determined work to build its image as an employer and invests in leadership. It has comprehensive career pages
and its personnel also promote the good picture of Nordea. Furthermore, Nordea is a major employer of Bachelors and Masters of Science (Economics and Business Administration) as well as of Bachelors of Business Administration.
There are four categories in the annual survey carried out by Universum: business, IT, law and engineering. This year almost 8,000 students from different universities, polytechnics and colleges participated in the survey.
